We recently moved to Jasper and today, my husband and I decided to try out this BBQ restaurant for lunch. We opted to sit outside on the porch. He ordered the pulled pork special for lunch, while I chose the veggie plate with four sides. Everything was absolutely delicious! The sides were cooked perfectly—not overdone as I’ve experienced at other BBQ places before. Our waitress was also incredibly friendly and attentive. I’m looking forward to bringing the whole family back soon!
Ribs, which in the past have been excellent, were 1/4 inch thick. Literally all hard bark. Corn fritters were not fresh or hot. Bubba-penos looked and tasted like they had been under a warmer for several days. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the food.
Great bar b q in jasper. The portions are large and the pulled pork is smoked to perfection with little to no fat. Fries are great too. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Recommended dishes: Sauce, BBQ
Hesitate bc of other reviews, but the wings was 10/10 alone. Brisket samich 7/10. Ma n law said ribs was really good. Wednesday is half price wings. I?d eat here again for sure.
I've not gotten a take-out in some time simply because the food was so bad. That was probably 6 months ago. [Perhaps it has improved since then...one has to hope]. For starters, the Mexican wrap actually had tin foil in it and the rest of the foodsuch as ribs and chicken were simply not the same as a year or so ago. Again, maybe it's gotten better since.
