Was Jennifer Geminn at Bj's Carolina Cafe a mag?
Every time we've passed by when leaving the OBX, we've decided that this will now be a tradition on our way home! The food was fantastic! I highly recommend their hand-breaded chicken tenders and fries! My husband said his steak was excellent too! I also had the pleasure of meeting Molly, their adorable dog. What a sweetheart! What D A dislikes about Bj's Carolina Cafe:
Hostess, if you can call her that, had a nasty attitude and was rude. Food is mediocre at best, and the whole place was disorganized, short staffed, and needs an overhaul. Skip it. Other places to eat nearby. View all feedback.

We've been coming to the OBX area for the past 10 years and decided to stop in and grab some food on the way in and I'm glad we did. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly. We normally try different spots while out in OBX, but we plan to make this a staple when we come down from now on.
One of my favorite spots to meet Mom for a good meal in Currituck County. Best country cooking around. Great wings. I love the liver onions. Try the desserts.

Excellent atmosphere. Service staff was extremely friendly. Food was delicious. They went out of the way to accommodate our group of 10. Highly recommend.

Always enjoy Wednesday wings. Good food and music and the staff are attentive and friendly. Jenna was our server and she's very sweet.
Literally stop the best small café and eat after a long day of travel. The best crab diver I've ever eaten. There is a reason the burgers come with a steak knife, but they are grilled to perfection. Finally, all desserts are homemade and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it!
Wow! Top notch local, full to noon, but not too busy to offer great service. We were served by Mama himself, who was the sweetest lady. Great seafood, farm to table (sea to table? and absolutely great non seafood menu also. We would definitely go back.
This is one of my favorite local restaurants!! has served large southern b q!lots of other tasty offers, all with southern charm... Many atmosphere! And home made deserts to die!! Waitresses are friendly, beautiful people! The owners are welcoming, helpful!! to earth it was a pleasure to talk to them for years
What a gem of a cafe! We flew by this place at 60mph on our way out of town and did a u-turn, and boy are we glad we did. This is the most delightful owner run restaurants that we have visited! Wanda is such a treasure to talk to. She makes you feel like you walked into her home, sat down at the kitchen table and you have been friends for a life time. The food was excellent- quick, hot, delicious, and the portions are belly stuffing! I wish we lived closer so we could visit all the time. Thank you for a wonder meal and a blessed start to our day and travels! Jim and Denise!

This popular local restaurant was decorated beautifully for the Christmas holidays. What a wonderful atmosphere, food, and friendly staff?
Seen this place while traveling south from Va. Stopped in on the way back for breakfast and glad I did. Very filling meal that came out hot and fresh. Has home cooking feel and is as real of a place as it gets. Also had the orange juice which was fresh squeezed. Do your self a favor and dont pass this little place by. It is a gem. I am not from the area (or even from this state lol) just visiting family and we happened to find this little gem! Great food and the Waitress was beyond welcoming made us feel at home. There wasn't a big wait for anything. The timing of apps and maincourse was excellent. Just can't express how well this place hit the spot on all our expectations for a restaurant! We will beback again!
Friendly staff and clean atmosphere. Ribs are amazing! Crab cakes are so tasty! The Crab dip is a must try! A nice family friendly place to eat with a variety of options from seafood to hamburgers.
Knowing my dietary restrictions (not voluntarily), I was a bit skeptical about coming here with my brother's family but to my surprise, their BBQ grilled chicken was so tasty and scrumptious! It was wing night so my brother, niece and nephew all orderedtheir respective wings and sodas. We all throroughly enjoyed our meals. Parking is ample and the restaurant is overall clean.
Recommend stopping for lunch! Party: 6 adults, 3 children. When ordering multiple of one item, there is a chance they don't taste the same. Our food was amazing. Consistency was superb! Liv, server, did great. Drinks were full and she offered everycourse. Kept us informed about specials and convinced us to try a dessert, even though we could already be rolled out, stuffedto the brim, full. 40% Tip As a Marylander, any crab item is substandard since we are known for our crabs. HOWEVER this crab dipwas phenomenal. Served with fried pita squares that were to die for. So delicious. Bang bang shrimp were sauced and friendperfectly. The wings were crispy and not overpowered by the sauce. BLT, fried fish sandwich, chicken tenders. Alldelicious. Unfortunately, the chicken sandwich was not our favorite. Chicken not as thinly sliced as I would have liked butgreat concept and flavor. Ceasar salad could have used less dressing. All in all. The chef on duty did a terrific job! Restroomswere cleaned and checked regularly. 2 Kid high chairs were not cleaned and needed additional attention.
Stopped at BJ's because Weeping Radish was getting renovated. So glad we ended up here instead. It was not that crowded and we were able to get seated right away. The service was great. Our waitress was extremely friendly. We all enjoyed our meals. Theirlemonade was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

We've visited this charming cafe three times (and we're not done yet!). It's conveniently located just before the bridge to the Outer Banks. We've enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there, and the experience has been delightful every time. The...

The hostess was rude, and my sister became ill after eating the crab cakes. I found this place to be unpleasant!
