I often go here for lunch the lunch set is large, filling, and delicious. I also like popping in for a coffee or organic juice and pastry. Everything on the menu is vegan and so tasty. The shop is great too. There are vegan packaged foods (and some non-vegan too so ask if you’re unsure) and sustainable items, such as metal straws and a cute eco bag with the cafe’s logo (I always carry around the small one with me). Probably the first ever plant-based cafe in Himeji. It's awesome for vegans who visit live in Himeji because we hadn't had anywhere to really eat for the longest time. The food is pretty good. Shortly before 2 a.m. after the visit of Himeji Castle (other restaurants had already sold from vegan options). It's a little off the main road, but it's worth the junction. The lunch set was delicious, filled and had a lot of variety. All seemed fresh and proportions were good. Dessert the carrot cake, which was moist and had a good taste.
Heads up, the menu is all vegan but the attached shop sells some non-vegan stuff
Lovely atmosphere friendly staff with English menus. My food came out quickly and was delicious. Fellow vegans keep this beacon alight.
After visiting Himeji Castle I came here and as it was after 3:30pm, I thought oh no I missed lunch. But, as it was after 3pm I could now order the pancakes, which I did and oh my am I glad I came by late. They were melt in your mouth delightful and satisfied a craving I didn't know I had.
Excellent place for lunch choices. If anyone is visiting Himeji, worthwhile to stop by this place for a simple nice meal. Updated from previous review on 2022-02-07
