I have been going there for fifteen years now and they are always polite. They don't hover over you while you try and eat, and they always let us sit at our favorite area if not taken. They remodeled. I really enjoy it when I go there. View all feedback.
What Maria Vieira doesn't like about World Buffet:
Stopped in for lunch with my daughter, out of the food that looked edible and I put on my plate, I did not eat much. We both left still hungry at a buffet. The noodles were cold, the rice tasted terrible, the cream puff my daughter had, she spit out because the cream was like foam. And it was $18 for the two of us! Have never had such a terrible experience. View all feedback.
There are many negative reviews. I often go and eat is always good and the customer service is ok. never had a bad experience with the staff. the snow sash is incredibly aligned with many others. my only complaining is sometimes the snow garnel is out and not on camp, but that is understandable, it is dinner time and that snow garnel is incredible! I would suggest trying. you may like it.
The first trip here, 2 years ago, was great. after a few trips it is still edible. eating isn't the worst quality, but they don't have any more coconut wars. that's disappointing. I had to get my own drinks refills, they just came to check us out after I had refilled our drinks. for a buffet it is good. but one of the other Asian food facilities near would be better use of money.
Overpriced and not a very good choice. I had expected a better experience. the food turnover in the steam trays was not fast enough (can be too much cooked at a time) so that eating dry out and not great. the choice was ok, but nothing to write home. I didn't try the sushi, but my wife did it and she wasn't impressed. but buffet sushi is always hit and miss. lighting wasn't great. at more than $10 per person (including soda) I expected a better experience.
If you enjoy having cold food served to you, then you won't mind this place. Outside of the poor server experience. Even 1 hour after the lunch Rush, the buffet wasn't stocked up to at least satisfaction level.. Many dishs were completely empty. The server paid no attention at all to me for a refill or ask me how my meal was going. So she lost her chance for a tip. FYI servers it doesn't matter if you only makes $2.33 an hour. you got to work for your tip.. or don't expect a decent salary for the day. It's that simple.
6pm on a Friday night and this was the only restaurant in the area that didn't have a packed parking lot. At first glance, the buffet looked to offer a lot of options. But several items were never refilled, while others looked as if they had been sitting out all day. Tried several items, most were fine but nothing exceptional. The service was friendly yet incredibly slow inattentive. First time my family left a buffet still hungry.
