Course is in OUTSTANDING SHAPE, Stone Pub is cool, got food and left. Great day

However, our experience was quite unpleasant. As we were heading to the back nine, they decided to start a large outing right in front of us. They asked us to skip hole 10 and play it after finishing our round, which was a bit surprising. We initially thought the outing was starting behind us, but to our surprise, they were teeing off at holes 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14. We ended up playing alongside the outing, which was chaotic, and there was no course ranger in sight. This led to slow play, and tensions escalated as the outing players became impatient and started hitting balls uncomfortably close to us. The presence of this outing was not mentioned when we made our reservation or when we arrived at the clubhouse, so it came as a surprise at the turn. After finishing holes 11-18, we found two groups, one teeing off and the other waiting on hole 10. I truly question whether any coordination for golfers on the course exists, and the customer service was severely lacking. When we finished, the staff was polite but made no effort to address their oversight. We paid to play 18 holes, reserved our spot in advance, and they chose to schedule a large outing on top of us without any notification or apology. We traveled a long way to play Glen Erin and left with a negative impression. I’m unlikely to return, as their reservation system seems ineffective, and they appear indifferent to customer experience. I wish I could give a better rating, as the golf course has considerable potential.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed this golf course. I can't imagine finding a better option in the area for the price. It was clear that they take pride in keeping the course in excellent condition. The starter kindly reminded us not to drive our carts around the tee boxes and greens—just good practice, but perhaps common sense isn't so common? Honestly, if this golf course were located in a more scenic area, the greens fees would likely be at least three times higher.

The course is in excellent condition, and we were looking forward to a fantastic day of golf. Unfortunately, our game was extremely slow, and the long waits caused us to lose interest. The management didn't take any steps to speed up the pace of play, which made for a very disappointing day overall.

I absolutely love this golf course! It's always in great condition and such a pleasure to play.
