Kanishka Retreat Resort Chail

We had booked Kanishka Resort three days ago, and it was a horrid experience for us. They charged us RS 6,500 per night. The room was not good and not worth Rs. 6500. It was like budget hotel rooms, like 2000–2500 per night. water-logged problem in the wash basin. I was hurt because the points of the bed's side table were sharpened. The bathrobe mat and curtain were dirty and very old. Breakfast was not good. A fly came out of the Sambhar. Overall, it was a horrible and bad experience. Service was also not good. Please do not book this hotel by looking at the pictures.

Really enjoyed our stay here . Everything about this place is just awesome, rooms, view from balcony and the food. Special mention to staff members who are very courteous and take so much effort in making the stay enjoyable. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful stay. We booked Kanishka Resort for two days for the celebration our wedding in May 2023. The hotel is owned by a very humble man Sarthak. Sarthak has been the main person to deal with our booking since day one . Been an owner he still personally got involved with our arrangements. In the preliminary conversation regarding food menu , he advised and suggested the best possible experience for us and our guests. He is a very dedicated man towards the level of service him and his staff (especially Abhay provide. We had 6 meals in two days , and each and every meal was mouth watering . The flavours were amazing, especially the Himachali Dham , us punjabis can’t do a meal without the meat but this Himachali Dham was exceptionally good. The property has beautiful and picturesque views. There is multiple gardens and seating spaces for evening relaxation. They also have a plant nursery which is accessible to the guest as well . The spices and veg they use are organic. So the food here doesn’t make you tired or sleepy. The overall experience has been mind blowing with Sarthak been the leader . My husband and all our guest are fully satisfied with the level of service . Kanishka will always be a big part of our lives . We will be staying every year in Kanishka . It’s a property very close to our heart.
