When in JAMUL Casino, this is a great place for your Asian food fix. You can dine in or take your food to go. The food is decently priced. If you are a casino player you can get a discount. Portions are decent and the quality is also decent. Since this is a casino, the ambiance is always a bit noisy or loud. If you're not in the mood to sit down, they can take your orders outside a kiosk stand to the right of the out... View all feedback.
What Rachel L doesn't like about Tony Gwynn's Sports Pub:
Food is great! Service can use a lot of help.. The ambiance is nice, loud but then again, it's located inside Jamul Casino. Nothing much more to say besides the salt pepper mussels calamari are yummy. View all feedback.
Zero. Zero. I mean zero stars but it's not option. Left over, cold, salt and pepper pork. I've never returned food but gave them a chance. Waited and waited and waited. Turns out they didn't put my order in. Left and will never go back.
Staff my favorites, food great, view several sports on multiple screens
Went for the Expensive Buffet, BIG Disappointment, Though the Crab Legs were Good. Maybe I will Try from the Regular Menu One Day In Order to Change my Rating.
The star of the night was undoubtedly the Szechuan eggplant. It was perfectly cooked—soft and smothered in a delicious sauce. The spices and seasonings provided a delightful kick, making it the highlight of our meal. I highly recommend trying this dish when you visit Emerald Chinese Cuisine. The salt and pepper chicken was another winner. The chicken had a perfect crispy exterior and was juicy inside, with seasoning that struck the right balance of salty and slightly spicy. The accompanying dipping sauce was an excellent complement and left us wanting more. The chicken fried rice was a classic choice that certainly didn’t disappoint. The rice was fluffy and well-cooked, and the chicken was both flavorful and abundant. While it may not have been the most adventurous option, it was genuinely tasty and satisfying. The Mongolian beef also stood out for its tender, flavorful meat and a delicious sauce that enhanced the dish perfectly. We couldn’t get enough of it. Unfortunately, the Singaporean noodles fell short of our expectations. They lacked the authentic flavors we were hoping for and didn’t stand up to the other dishes. While not terrible, they simply didn’t have the rich and complex tastes we anticipated. On a positive note, the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself had a pleasant atmosphere, featuring modern and inviting décor that made our dining experience enjoyable. Overall, our visit to Emerald Chinese Cuisine at Jamul Casino was quite enjoyable. The Szechuan eggplant, salt and pepper chicken, chicken fried rice, and Mongolian beef were all fantastic, though the Singaporean noodles were a bit of a letdown. If you’re in the mood for delicious Chinese cuisine with plenty of options, I highly recommend checking out Emerald Chinese Cuisine.
The food is excellent! The service could definitely use improvement. The ambiance is pleasant—it's a bit loud, but that’s expected since it’s located inside Jamul Casino. Overall, I don’t have much more to add, except that the salt and pepper mussels and calamari are delicious.
