Reviews - Davoni's
Reviews summary
Tucked into Jamestown, this neighborhood Italian offers house-made pastas, fried mozzarella, generous portions and fresh breadsticks, often paired with bubbly, attentive service and reliable takeout and wine. Many guests praise authentic flavors and group-friendly hospitality, though experiences vary: some report stale bread, bland or overcooked pasta, long waits, and a cramped dining room. Prices run on the higher side. Overall, a charming local gem with uneven execution—worth trying if you temper expectations.

We stopped in passing through about a half hour before closing to order dinner to-go, were greeted by the friendliest staff who probably could have been closing up early. They welcomed us with a smile and helped select wine and an appetizer to enjoy whilewe waited for our pastas. The food was made quickly but tasted as fresh and authentic as could be. Had the fried mozzarellaslices (made in house- as is most of their menu), Italian flag ravioli and pasta Milano. I knew we found a gem before we tasteda bite of the food. Everything tasted fresh and authentic: will definitely be making trips to Jamestown just to eat here and trythe rest of the menu. Staff, food and atmosphere like this are truly a rare find. Thankful for such a quality establishment!
We are traveling to Canmore, Alberta, Canada and stopped in Jamestown as a halfway point. We always ask the locals where they like to eat. The lady at the front desk at Hampton Inn suggested Davoni's. It was a little after 9 and they closed at 10, butthey were very nice and bubbly and said they could absolutely serve us. They brought out fresh hot breadsticks that were verygood. We ordered an appetizer that I can't remember the name of, it was bread with diced chicken and Alfredo sauce and was sogood! Our dinner was the chicken parmesan which we shared and it was a good thing because the chicken was so huge. There wasmore than enough food for both me and my husband, and it was divine! The waiter was very attentive and made sure we were takencare of. If you are in the area, or live here and haven't tried it yet, go! 5 stars guys! Bravo!
The prices were a bit on the high side, but the quality has greatly improved since my first visit. It's almost justified for the cost. Being the only Italian restaurant in town is definitely a big plus. The staff was friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing.
Absolutely amazing! Savannah provided us with outstanding service and the food was excellent! If you're in Jamestown, it's definitely worth taking a few extra minutes to sit down and enjoy the experience.

So professional and gave so much respect as a costumer. Food and staff the best. There house dressing and salad
Average food is extremely expensive! 20$ for a standard serving of pasta with only half a chicken breast. I won't go back.
Our family had a long day in a hospital waiting room we had a large group and we were starving. Our server was amazing she went above and beyond getting our drinks and accommodating our large unorganized group. The food was phenomenal. It was exactly what we all needed after an emotionally exhausting day. Thank you so much.
