Chopmist Charlie's - Jamestown

AMAZING. I went here for years and the food was always hit or missed, but the food is absolutely fantastic now and the portions are crazy. The interior is completely new and looks so much better, I was comprehensible about this new island square because I was used for Chopmist Charlie, but this place is now incredible. The owner is even friendly and so creepy. I hope everyone has the pleasure of meeting Sarah, the beautiful blonde from New York. She's a GEM my family loves her. Please go to this new chopmist Charlie’s/Islandish they are strongly underestimated. You also have to try the key lime cake!!! It's dying.

We've been here a few times now and loved it. We've had the RI chowder, clam cakes, lobster mac n cheese, salad, seafood au gratin, steamers, mussels, fried bellies and the seared scallops and have been happy with every meal! Last night they were under staffed and handed it very well. The owner had actually come in to help and was taking drink orders, the waitress supplied us with bread when there was a long wait for the food and everyone was friendly. The prices are also really reasonable. Live, love, love it!

This delightful local gem serves generous lobster rolls and delicious bisque. I forgot to take pictures of the food, but I managed to snap a few of the interior. There's also a lovely little bar. It's definitely worth a visit!

This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food! They accommodated our party of 13 for lunch perfectly. We enjoyed the Scrod Fish Sandwich, Calamari, Clam Chowder, Fish and Chips, and a Caesar Salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend it! The service was excellent as well; the owner was friendly and very welcoming.

I absolutely love everything about this place—the food, the staff, the atmosphere. Thank you so much for consistently delivering a great experience. We've been making the drive from Bristol, CT, to Jamestown, RI, for lunch at Charlie's for 20 years now!
