We were travelling through on a Sunday night. As you would expect there was not much open in a country town but the Railway Hotel provided us with a couple of drinks and a lovely meal. It was very warm inside and the staff were very friendly. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Railway Jamestown:
Visited on a Sunday night after calling earlier in week ... Extremely long wait on pizzas which are the only menu items on that night ... Only upside pizzas where good tasting View all feedback.
More terrible place. not recommended. the employees are rude. the manager is faced and not inviting
On Sunday, on the way back from a family camp in the flinders ranges, we stopped here by 8 o'clock. in desperate need of a food for the children, because everything that was late on Sunday in the country was closed! the kitchen was closed as the chef, but she has paid the many for us again gratefully. Sunday night is pizza night. ordered 3 pizzas including a few gluten-free. pleasantly surprised! the gf pizzas were amazing! one of the best GF bases that are round. worth the ride back only for the pizzas!
Visited on a Sunday evening after a call earlier in the week ... extremely long wait for pizzas that are the only menu items in this night. only pizzas on the front, where good tasting
The service was unacceptable! the old owner/manager never went out of the way to help us! I will not recommend
Best place we found in Jamestown during a week long stay. Not classy, but separate from the front bar and pokies. Stirfry chicken was very generous with lotsa chicken. Whiting was a very small fillet. Both very tasty and the chips crispy as ordered. Small...wine list, but reasonably priced. Had to pollute the red with some ice cuz it was too warm.
