This charming small local café is run by one woman. I tried the bakmie sambal hijo for 26k (1.60 usd) and it was tasty and very spicy. If you can't handle the heat, avoid anything with "sambal." The atmosphere is also very humid and warm, but that's to be expected in Jakarta.
I tried the Bihung Original Pangsit at this restaurant. The portion size was surprisingly generous - my friend couldn't even finish her meal because there was so much food. The dishes were tasty and reasonably priced.
This woman may not speak English, but she prepares incredibly tasty vegan dishes! Simply point to something on the menu, and she will have it ready in no time. The dishes are also spicy and portions are generous. #Veganuary Updated from previous review on 2022-12-29
