Schlossl Weitmoser - Jagdschlossel

Last night of our holiday and we thought we would treat ourselves. We had a bottle of Austrian red which was very nice. The fod was ok but not excellent. The service was ok but they had several large parties who took most of the...staffs attention.

Decided to go here when visiting Bad Hofgastien. We had a lovely walk there after going though the Alpenkurpark on a little path through fields to the castle. We were the only ones there, we had a lovely lunch very quiet. I was allowed to...go up stairs and explore. The English menu had a bit about the history of the castle and are?

Went on a dinner with my husband. Great enterier, helpfull and experienced stuff.We had a welcoming dish from the kitchen at start and that was a perfect intro for a perfect dinner.Delicious meal served excellent,not to crowded, relaxing music...Desert was very good.Best restaurant we have...visited in the area.For recommendation for sure.

If you really wish to have a special evening with friends of as a couple it really fits the bill. The Castle is beautiful and difficult to beat. Best to get taxi in dark so as no accidents. Food is mostly typically Austrian and superb....Just a lovely place to feel that spending that little bit extra you benefit by the experience. Good food and helpful staff.

Came here with my son for dinner. I had the fillet and he has schnitzel, followed by a vert tasty desert. We liked the old castle like atmosphere and elegance of the place. All this within €80 (including tip)
