What Chris Baker likes about The Sheik Sandwiches and Subs:
The Sheik is a Jacksonville staple and a must visit during any Duval county trip. The in restaurant seating was closed during my trip in late June of 2020, so I got my steak in a sack, fries, and cherry limeade to go. The pita is always fresh and the steak and fries were hot. I recommend visiting if your in the area, the breakfast menu is far more expansive than the lunch menu. View all feedback.

Not sure I really like sausage, eggs mixed with grits. Thought I would have biscuits and gravy. Good food and good price. Some people could be little more pleasant. View all feedback.

Great place for breakfast or lunch the hamburgers are the best and I only have breakfast there probably eaten 20 minutes ago and it was great and the owners a big Jaguar fan so go tell him go Jaguars

Good food and fantastic service are the reasons why there is a line of cars on the road!! I love ham, eggs and cheese Pita for breakfast! The steak in a sack and spiced pommes is another favorite!!! Don't forget Cherry Limeade!

Prices have risen drastically. I spent $26.00 on two steaks in a bag comb. And it seemed like half the frits and a small part of the steak..

I've removed the road from this place for 20 years and decided to try it. I got breakfast. I had her bacon, egg and cheese Pita. It was delicious. It had real eggs and bacon that were made perfect. The Pita was beautiful and soft. I'd definitely come back here. The service was quick and friendly!

In a day n age where fast food restaurants are almost always a disaster this place breaks that curse. I have been here several times for lunch and the lady running the register does a great job at quickly getting orders done and takes charge on making sure things are right and coming out. Then the group of ladies in the back bang out the orders. You do not wait a long time for your food and it has always been great. Suck a fresh breath of air to have a well ran restaurant.
