While the prices seem fair, the upcharges and smaller portions have left some feeling dissatisfied. However, fans of the classic BBQ spot still rave about the delicious pork dishes and tasty sauces. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent service even during busy times. Although some may have had mixed experiences, the overall consensus seems to be that The Pig remains a solid choice for authentic BBQ in town.
I liked the waitess and all associated staff. They were kind and attentive. The bbq was good. The sides were really great.
Been a long time since I've had any bbq from here, but I can say they have the best salmon croquettes I've had in years.

This place pulled pork BBQ sandwich with their vinegar and cayenne pepper sauce is one of my favorite barbecue places in Florida I give him a A+ on their coleslaw to excellent. I've had a lot of friends recommend that I try the ribs but I'm so happy with the pulled pork sandwiches that I've never done it when I come to Jacksonville I have to eat at least once at the Pig BBQ
Large Pig special with beans, and fries! You won't be disappointed. The ribs are good too. I think they put whip cream in their banana pudding, and I could eat a truckload of it!
