Soul Of Main Street - Jacksonville

I recently visited this restaurant and enjoyed the delicious banana pudding and mac and cheese. However, I was disappointed to find that they were closed despite Google, their website, and the sign at the door indicating they were open. Additionally, when I visited over the weekend, they were out of banana pudding and cobbler. I recommend updating your hours and menu so that future customers are not let down. I would love to return in the future.

This was the first and last time I will ever order food from this restaurant. The food was the worst I have ever had. When I inquired about my order, I was told it came with potatoes, corn, shrimp, and garlic. However, when I received it 30 minutes later, the chicken was undercooked, the shrimp were overcooked, and the corn was missing. The only things that were properly cooked were the potatoes, eggs, and shrimp. Overall, the experience was disappointing and the food was subpar. Eating here is definitely not worth it.

Two friends and I took a day trip to Jacksonville and stumbled upon this place on Google. The food was amazing. We enjoyed home-cooked meals with friendly service. The fried pork chops, collard greens, sweet yams, and delicious cornbread were unforgettable. This soul food not only satisfied our stomachs but also lifted our spirits. I would definitely come back again.

Food is very good , the cashiers are very nice . The owner Mark is very cool and understanding .
