Soul Food Bistro - Jacksonville

There was a bit of a wait, but it was absolutely worth it! I’m from St. Petersburg and I'm usually used to getting tiny portions of overpriced oxtails. But at Soul Food Bistro, my plate was overflowing with oxtails—so much so that the lid wouldn’t even close! The oxtails were big, tender, and meaty, with no bones at all. Now, every time I’m in Jacksonville, I make it a point to stop by Soul Food Bistro. I'm so impressed that I don’t even crave oxtails from anywhere else. By the way, oxtails are my favorite! I always try to get them whenever I'm in a new city for work. I’ve traveled all over, from the bottom of Florida up to Georgia and Alabama, and I always look up soul food restaurants in each city I visit.

The food was excellent! I ordered the oxtails, and they were incredibly tender and delicious!

Wow, if you're looking for amazing food, this place is the absolute best! Every dish is packed with flavor and reminds me of my mom's home cooking. You won't be disappointed!

Was unable to resolve a price difference with management. Was told one price for the special but was charged an upcharge for mixed chicken. No courtesy by management or staff.

Drive all the way from Gainesville Florida to eat this wonderful food it is amazing I recommend it to anyone.
