Sawa Sushi - Jacksonville

We have been to Sawa Sushi a handful of times. Always fully satisfied with awesome sushi, presentation, and service! Great prices, great lunch special. My new favorite Sushi in Jacksonville!

Ate here the other night with my significant other and daughter. We were the only ones there. But I was desperate for udon. I had chicken Udon with an eel roll, as well as a yellowtail and salmon sashimi, ginger salad, a California hand roll and clear soup. My significant other had the chefs special, featuring general Tso's chicken. As well as a clear soup and a fried ikrab roll we shared. My daughter shared from both of us. The server was really nice. As well as the sushi chef. The presentation was really nice as well. The only thing I would have changed about the restaurant, is adding music. It was totally silent and I prefer to have some ambient noise in the background. The bill was also way cheaper than we thought and especially compared to other asian restaurants we have been to. We will definitely be back in the future. I would like to try out more of the rolls they have here. They had a nice list of rolls I looked at before ultimately deciding what I wanted to eat.

Great place! We had several of the Sushi rolls and an order of Sesame Chicken with the soup. Everything was very good. My wife and I concur that the Sesame Chicken is the best that we've ever had at a restaurant in Jacksonville. The Sushi rolls were held together perfectly and were very tasty. The service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend you give this place a try. They offer dine in and take out. We had take out tonight and they gave us a free Bamboo roll which was tasty. Next time, we'll be dining in and we are looking forward to the experience.

Love this place, owners are super hospitable sushi chef is impeccably clean. I saw him throw away a piece of salmon because it had a speck on it. Food is great, always satisfied with their dishes because we frequently come the manager gives us service appetizers just to show love! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a fusion Asian.
