Hadn't been in a while. Food was much better than my last visit.
The server was attentive and I like the quiet atmosphere. Salad bar needed attention. I mentioned it to two employees and finally some things were filled. I normally get the Asiago chicken which is always good. I ordered shrimp parmesan pasta tonight and that is apparently not their thing. Bland and greasy. My husband got the chicken and broccoli. The chicken looked good. The small bits of broccoli were not enough to add much flavor.
Shelby was amazing, even that we get ther at 7:15 and they close at 8pm because is Christmas eve. All super good.
We really enjoyed the burgers, which made it tough for me to decide on the star rating. I ultimately settled on three stars because the baked potatoes were quite small—barely bigger than the container of sour cream. One of them was about the size of the little potatoes you might use in green beans; I could easily wrap my fist around it. It was quite disappointing to pick up dinner—our only meal of the day—and find such a tiny baked potato. I understand there may be supply chain issues, but it would have been helpful to offer another small potato or an extra side. That said, the burger was excellent, and I would be willing to give them another chance.
The food was quite good, but it didn't blow me away. Our server was very friendly and attentive. My girlfriend and I liked our meals; the pasta I ordered was decent, though not outstanding. I was a bit disappointed with the side of mushrooms, as it was just a small cup of chopped and sautéed mushrooms. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but not particularly memorable.
