Posting House - Jacksonville
Posting House
Description
Nestled in San Marco, Posting House offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a relaxed outing with friends, family, or even pets on its inviting outdoor patio. Guests rave about the attentive service, particularly from the knowledgeable bartender Masha, who enhances the experience with her expertise and friendly demeanor. While the selection of beers, wines, and ciders impresses, the food menu could benefit from more variety. The charcuterie board, praised for its quality, can be challenging to share due to its large portions. With live jazz enhancing the ambiance on Sundays, Posting House is consistently recommended for laid-back gatherings.

I highly recommend seeing Masha at the restaurant. She is extremely knowledgeable about wines, consistently ensures you are taken care of, has a great music playlist, and is a fantastic person to converse with. As a single woman, feeling comfortable and safe at a bar is important to me, and being able to engage in conversation with the bartender is essential. Masha greeted me warmly when I arrived, immediately putting me at ease. However, I was disappointed when a male bartender, who was about to leave, interrupted our conversation to explain things to her in a condescending manner. Despite this, Masha turned my experience around and I ended up staying longer because of her. She truly deserves 5 stars for her exceptional service at Posting House.
Enjoyed a nice ESB and some lovely live jazz! There's jazz every Sunday from 4-6 or so. I definitely recommend checking that out. Didn't try the food, only the beer.
We attended the Italian Wine Tasting event on May 4th. What a wonderful event! We had a great time! The Posting House is a wonderful addition to San Marco. Can't wait for the next event!! Had visited once before and we just love this place.
