I go to this Panera in my neighborhood in San Marco. I love this Panera. I travel with my husband to other locations in the city and other cities and states. Im always happy to return to my Panera. Shannon is a manager/supervisor at the one in San Marco. She runs the staff as a tight ship but so pleasant to the workers. She makes time for customers and listens. I can tell when sheis there cause it is so orderly. She is AWESOME! She really really cares about this Panera and wants it to be the BEST it canbe! The people she has hired are also great in customer service! That is another goal of hers customer service And it shows. She just has that natural way to run this store and it is by far my favorite Panera! I just need to acknowledge Shannon causeshe is such a hard worker making a difference in a company that probably has no idea what she does to make their restaurant sogreat! A shout out to some of the awesome workers: Ramon, Vern, Mimi, Jerrod, Cameron, Union and last but not least Trevor! These guys are outstanding! And those not mentioned, I just dont know their names!

I order lunch from Panera quite often. During my most recent order, I received the wrong sandwich. I called the store and they rushed the correct sandwich right over. I highly recommend this location. The food is always good and the service isoutstanding!

When she returned with my order, she was holding a Diet Pepsi instead of the Coke I ordered. I pointed out the mistake, as I had specifically asked for a regular Coke, not a Pepsi, and definitely not a diet. They didn’t have the Coke, so I requested a refund for the drink. The manager came over to assist, but it was all quite chaotic. The order was incorrect, the service was lackluster, and the staff was rude. I had been a loyal customer at this Panera for six years, but something is definitely wrong there now. I decided I wouldn't be returning. While I was waiting for my order, I asked where it was, and the staff member told me to go to the side. All they needed to do was toast the muffin, but it still wasn’t toasted when they handed it to me. I told them to just give it to me so I could leave. I mentioned that I wouldn't be coming back. As I was walking away, I overheard the manager telling other employees that he had refunded my money. But just because I got a refund doesn’t mean I should be treated rudely, and they didn't even apologize. To top it off, when I checked my bag, I found two muffins; one of them was a pumpkin muffin, which I didn’t order and don’t like. I mentioned that I hadn’t ordered pumpkin, and she claimed she thought I had said pumpkin. Overall, it was a complete mess.

I ordered a salad with extra dressing at Panera Bread, but they placed a plastic cup of dressing right on top of the salad, which was already dressed, instead of serving it on the side. The music was playing loudly, and I was told it couldn’t be turned down or off due to a broken app. The interior was also uncomfortably cold. It’s disappointing to see a restaurant I once loved struggle with poor corporate management. I won’t be coming back. The menu quality no longer meets my expectations.

When did Panera get so pricey? We ordered soup and a sandwich, and it ended up costing $16 each. The service was okay, but there were few, if any, gluten-free choices. I guess this place just isn’t for me.
