Orangetree Hot Dogs - Jacksonville

This place is fantastic! The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. My partner and I have been coming here for years, and we hope they never close down. The hot dogs are absolutely delicious! They even have sourdough, which I really miss from the north! Their menu includes burgers, fries, and ice cream as well! I can’t recommend it enough. If you haven’t been here yet, you have to go! The chili cheese hot dog is a must-try, and they also have corn dogs! I can't wait to come back!

I absolutely love this place! It's small and unpretentious, and they prepare my senfslaw dogs exactly how I like them, served on a beautifully soft bun with perfectly hot toppings. I do miss the knitter fries, but the reliable quality, convenience, and very reasonable prices have made me drive over from the westside to Hodges at least once or twice a month.

I decided to try Orange Tree again and ordered a hot dog. A long time ago, when they were at Regency Mall, everything was always immaculate, clean, and bustling. The hot dog I had near the beach and Hodges was very good, but the pizza was disappointing. At first, I thought it was fair, but on a few slices, there was an unusual spice that really ruined the flavor. I wanted to give feedback, but the staff was busy with other customers. Also, the pizza crust was quite dark. I wouldn’t recommend getting the pizza again!

It had a traditional chicagoer dog, but the bananenpfeffer were still good.

I loved my experience at this adorable tiny restaurant. The staff are amazing and so nice!! They're located in the shopping plaza by kid to kid Hodges. There is plenty of parking nearby. If you're looking for comfort food or want to feel like a kid again, come here. The corn dogs are yummy!!! I also purchased onion rings, and jalapeño poppers. Everything was perfectly crispy and tasted just as id hoped for. They offer a lot of different sauce options too. My sister joined me on my visit and I'll add that she also said the food was incredible. We can't wait to come back again!!
