Great friendly staff.Classic Mid-West breakfast good eats, although our hashbrown's were a bit under cooked. The only huge negative comment and why the rating dropped is; An old and run down building is fine but the floors, walls, and bathrooms need a complete hazmat steam cleaning! The staff was wonderful, and the place was clean with well-maintained upholstery. The food was very good, and the coffee kept flowing! I had some initial concerns when we first arrived, but those faded as soon as we walked in. There was a steady stream of local customers, which is always a good sign!
The restaurant has a wonderful family atmosphere and the food is excellent. The service was great as well. I will definitely be coming back. It's a bit too hot for me right now; I'm at my family and friends' house going for a swim. Take care, everyone, and stay safe in this heat! Bye for now!
I found this place after a bad experience at Kim's Place (see other review)... They sat me quickly and immediately took my order. Food was decent and waitress was nice. Much nicer and cleaner inside than Kim's... Was looking for breakfast all day and this fit the bill. Would definitely visit again if I was in Jacksonville!

St0ped in to have breakfast before heading back to Denver. Good portions great price. Good food.
