I loved the environment absolutely. great staff. eating was phenomenal and worth every penny. we have the whole hawg and smokehouse chicken. I recommend both. I just moved from tn to find out what my favorite restaurants will be. this is safe on the list View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mojo Kitchen, Bbq Pit Blues:
Order Togo today. The Chicken Wings and Boom Boom Shrimps. The host said it’s about 10 minutes. Then I waited 30 mins until a girl came out to ask. Then the manager I think said that they will prepare my order for 2 minutes(???? but I waited for more than 15 minutes. I think the host did not put my order through. The best burger and shrimp and grits you'll find at the beach!
We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Our server was very nice and accommodating. Since it was late, we decided to share a plate, and she never rushed us, which we really appreciated. We enjoyed the food thoroughly. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Really wanted to like this place but the food just didn’t live up to expectations. Now I have ate BBQ all over the place so maybe I am jaded having been to KC amongst other places that just have flat out wicked meats but It just tasted like it wasn’t fresh. Start with the meats, KC burnt ends were a lot tougher than I would expect, had one piece so tough that I couldn’t even bite into it as the burnt outside had hardened to the point of no return. My partner felt the same about the pulled pork, just seemed like it wasn’t that fresh. The sides, similar to what others have echoed here, they need a little work. Salad was fine, mind you hard to not make that right but the collard greens were just kind of bland for the most part. Service was friendly, staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating for allergies, just need to put a little more TLC into the food. Prices were fair.
Beside the chicken everything else was very good, tender, sauces really tasty. I loved the coleslaw it wasn't too sweet. Overall good bbq food.
