Gina’s Delicatessen was the next stop on my tour of delis in Avondale and Riverside. Unfortunately, by the time I arrived their post street location was no more. Thanks to the Google I learned Gina’s had a Murray Hill location, and made the short drive over. Gina’s stands at 803 Edgewood Avenue and is open for breakfast and lunch. Great lunch fast. Delicious daily special lunch combo w fries and drink for $10. Breakfast and lunch food all looks great.
Tuna sandwich, pancakes, eggs bacon...Praise Report!!!! the first day I had a tuna sandwich... tuna was amazing.... second day, I had a breakfast with pancakes,bacon and eggs... wonderful Home Cooked Food. I will definitely be back.....customer service was great. I'm really bad with names (lol) the cashier was great and patient with me because I had no idea what I could handle eating as I just had throat surgery.The cook/owner was amazing... wish I could afford her to cook all my meals....
Absolutely the BEST food and service in Murray Hill.I love their Tuna Pita with all the fixings, Steak In A Sack with mushrooms, onions and banana peppers, the Giant Burger with those delicious Crinkle Fries.The homemade desserts especially the carrot cake, brownies, baklava, banana pudding, other specialty slices of cakes, cookies, and sweets are worth the calories. So yummy. ?You can pick up a huge bag of fresh pita bread or some of their famous salads and tabouleh from the refrigerated case to take home for around $4-5.The breakfast and lunch selections are varied and reasonably priced for the portions served. Breakfast ALL DAY on Saturday.There's so much to love about Gina's Deli and the food is consistently tasty!
This place. This place, this tasty little grill in Murray Hill (or better known as a Delicatessen Gina 's Deli is fantastic! Love the service and the food!P.S. By service I don 't mean: in love with the server(s but in love with the food....we be kissin ' ?
More than you expect! Steak in a sack, INCREDIBLE. VEGGIE RIDER, AMAZING. Just the best.
