Five Points Tavern is a restaurant located in a nice area in San Pedro, Monterrey. The service was excellent, with friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff. The food ranged from good to very good, with some standout dishes like Duck Paella. However, the portion size for the price paid was not considered a great value. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit lacking, with one reviewer feeling like they were sitting in a kitchen equipment store room. Despite these shortcomings, the restaurant has received good word of mouth and wishes for continued success. Overall, the restaurant is recommended as a must-visit in Monterrey for its great service, good food, and amazing wine list.

Delicious hamburger!!! Very friendly
We stopped by while driving through the area and had the best experience. Mason was so helpful and provided some of the best service we’ve had anywhere. It is very dog friendly. We sat on the cute patio with a heater to keep us warm in the cold rain. Not to mention that everything we ordered was delicious! The brussel sprouts (without bacon) were my favorite I’ve ever had. And my partner with celiac was also able to have a phenomenal flatbread (The Denver). We will stop by every time we drive through.Vegetarian options: There are clearly marked options and the ability to have meat removed from dishes to make them vegetarian. We had hummus, frites, and brussel sprouts without bacon. All delicious!Dietary restrictions: They have cauliflower crust for flatbread and are celiac-friendly.
The waiter, Pat, was excellent and provided superb service during our meal. The romantic ambiance enhanced our overall dining experience. Furthermore, the food was exceptional, leaving us completely satisfied.
The food was incredibly tasty and the service was outstanding!
Maybe it was an off night for them, but we did not have a great experience. They were very understaffed. Service took foreeeeeeeeever, we never got the steak sauce we asked for, and we had to stop another server for the check so we wouldn’t be late to our show. Probably won’t be back, it was way too expensive for mediocre food and understaffed service.
