Cruisers Grill - Jacksonville

I have heard from several people that this place was amazing so I tried it out today for lunch. I heard their burger was supposed to be WAY better then Five Guys. Those people were wrong. The burger tasted like a frozen patty. It was literally dripping with grease. I will say that I tried their chicken chunks and they were good. As well, as their bacon cheddar fries. I also ordered a root beer float and they served it in the old time glass cup with a bottle of root beer. I liked the decor with bikes hanging from the wall and simple beach prints. Plus it's right on the water.

We came here for a late lunch Saturday afternoon around 3pm. We weren't even sure if they were open at first because it was so dark but then we noticed an OPEN sign off to the side. We walked in and there was only two tables so we waited at the front. We waited and waited and waited. At least 10 minutes must have passed and no one came out to greet us. The door even dings when you open it so we know they heard us come in. We ended up leaving and I was so disappointed. I heard the food was amazing. They just need to work on their service.
