Carrabba's Italian Grill - Jacksonville

I always order food for takeout, and I have never had any problems before. Everything has always been delicious and nicely packaged. I really have only compliments. But today I ordered fettuccine alfredo and received one third of the portion. You have never packed such a small portion for me before. You can even see my picture showing what I received earlier, what is shown on the website, and what I received today. I don't want to leave you a bad review because of this, but please be careful in the future to avoid such mishaps. None of us want to feel like we are wasting money, especially today when food is so expensive.

I usually order take out so I don't have interaction with the staff to really give them a rating. Although it seems like a lot of wait staff do not appreciate having a job and giving their best. The food, however, I have concerns with. I like meatballs with my spaghetti or the appetizers and let me tell you they are the smallest meatballs I've had at any restaurant. And they only give you TWO. Although flavorful, just two puny meatballs. Also, it has been a while since I ordered spaghetti but did the sauce get sweeter? Vinegary? I got a small can of regular store bought sauce and mixed it together so it was edible. I understand the price of food is higher, I understand the restaurant world changes constantly but just because Carrabas happens to be close by I won't be ordering again.

Soooo just left because we sat for over 20 mins for our server/bartender who felt it more important to gossip with coworkers (who by the way was filling beers and other things) than just get us a drink. And that time includes the 15 mins for you to even come over to ask us about drink. Being busy is one thing but you had 4 tables....

Everything went wrong from the start at the beginning they gave us someone else’s food then when they came with our order it was completely wrong. The waiter was clueless. At this point I was so upset I couldn’t even eat so I sent my entrée back. My wife entrées came to the table. It was cold by then we were tired of complaining so she did the best she could. I was so upset because it was a special Night for us. I will never go to the Carrabba’s again. We just moved back to Jacksonville, so when I saw that was a Carrabba‘s, I wanted to try it. That was a big mistake.

Justin is a kind manager. We spoke to Justin before placing together orders but we finally met him in person and he is such a humble and friendly person. Moreover, i like to say the new Meatball Ravioli Malfatti, and the Italian Cookie Cake both items in my honest opinion are delicious. They are Great classic sumner specials I hope they continue to be offered. One other thing our server was Excellent.
