I appreciate that finding help is c... read more It has been a while since my last visit to Captain D's, and after my recent experience, it might be a while before I return. I appreciate that finding help is challenging, so I won't criticize the staff. However, my order was incorrect, and I was overcharged. Given the amount of time I had already spent there, I wasn't willing to go back and resolve the issue. Sometimes, it's just easier to let it go than to try to sort things out.

I placed a DoorDash pickup order and received a text saying my food was ready. However, when I arrived at the restaurant 45 minutes later, they hadn't even started preparing my order yet! The cashier said, "YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND LEAVE IF YOU WANT." Why would I leave without the food I already paid for? She was clearly frustrated, and I ultimately decided to leave because I didn’t want someone who couldn't manage their job handling my food. Unfortunately, this is the only Captain D's in the area.

There's no explanation for this, they simply don't have it! Is there a specific cutoff time for ordering grilled fish during the day?

It took a little while for the food to arrive, but it was hot and fresh when it did. I don’t eat at Captain D's very often, but when I do, it's always consistently good—hot and fresh. Just be prepared to wait a bit. We need more Captain D's locations across the country!

I managed to choose a few items that they actual... read more I was welcomed by an employee outside who took my order, but unfortunately, they were out of almost everything. I managed to choose a few items that they actually had, but after waiting for 20 minutes, when I finally got to the window, they asked what I had ordered. It was only at that point that they started preparing my meal. The service left much to be desired. It seems like there are always issues with staff and supplies in this area. Interestingly, the more they earn, the less motivated they appear to be.
