Came here on a whim for lunch and the food was good and very quick. We were the only customers when we got there but other people were coming in and their service was quick as well. The menu prices were different from what is listed on google, they were taped and written over so it was about $1-2 more than expected per dish.Lunch options are numerous with typical chinese dishes and sushi, hibachi and bento options.All... What Anitha Nair doesn't like about Aki 7:
Not a fan of the meal we just ordered. The pad thai was a sorry excuse bland, with no aromatics incorporated and zero authentic flavor profile very vanilla. Look at the noodles they are wrong for this. The dynamite roll was an utter soggy mess with poorly proportioned rice to filling ratio. The submarine roll was a bland hot mess. Total waste of a meal. The only thing we enjoyed was the seaweed salad.I 'm from Southea... View all feedback.
During my first visit, the guy handed me the receipt to sign. After I signed it and returned it, he rudely asked, “NO TIP?” I was trying to explain that I was using my mom's card, but he just clicked his tongue and walked away. Today, I ordered again, and after waiting for the server to take my order, I signed the receipt and returned it. She glanced at it, saw that I hadn’t tipped, and then threw the paper down and tossed the pen as well. Their attitude is unacceptable and certainly doesn’t warrant a tip.
I decided to visit this restaurant on a whim for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and speed of the food. When we arrived, we were the only customers, but more people started coming in, and they were also served quickly. However, I noticed that the menu prices were different from those listed on Google; they had been taped over and were about $1-2 higher than I expected for each dish. The lunch menu offers a wide variety of options, including typical Chinese dishes, sushi, hibachi, and bento boxes. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would happily return!
I’m amazed that this place isn’t packed every time I visit. They offer some of the best sushi I’ve had in Jacksonville. Their cucumber salad is my favorite among all the restaurants in the area. The service is great, and this spot is definitely a hidden gem. If you enjoy sushi, you should definitely give them a try. It’s far better than Wasabi, no contest. Food: 5/5
Super disappointed ? I should have known better than to order PadThai, lo mein and sushi from the same restaurant, but I was hopeful. Pad Thai had zero flavor and not heat. lo Mein was ok at best and Dynamite roll wasn’t terrible. First and last time I’ve ordered. ?
This restaurant is amazing! We have been going there many years now and they never have bad food!! Never. It’s always fresh and wonderful. I have eaten at a lot of different restaurants in my 50 plus years and this is one of our favorites.Kid-friendliness: The waiter (man) is always friendly and polite and usually remembers what we like as soon as he see us. Love him
