What User doesn't like about The Shrimp Basket:
I recently ordered the cloak and oyster basket and took it home, and it was one of the most beautifully presented meals I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, I found myself feeling unwell shortly after, and I had to run to the bathroom. The oysters were in small, nugget-like pieces and had a very strong, fishy flavor. Loud, food mediocre. Waitress was obnoxious argumentative with other staff in front of customers; never did get our order right. BAD. Spend you somewhere else.
It was a Saturday night around 8PM and busy. Our server was GREAT! Even though she had multiple tables (one was a party of almost 20) she was very attentive. Even though she told us our food would come out a little late because of the party our food came out about ten minutes after she told us that. My husband and I just moved to the area and we will definitely be visiting Shrimp Basket again.
Have been to this location 3 times. Food, service, etc has always been good. Over the top really. Have also noticed they were catering to a lower income clientele. Tonight.......a lady was trying to place a very involved to go order at the counter. We watied over 15 minutes, as was a party of 10, and many more. We gave up an left. And will not be back.
