The Dirty Bird - Jackson

Food was good but service was consistently bad. It was a Wed evening and only half full at most. First we waited 6-7 minutes for them to bus a table and then another 12 minutes for the waitress to first appear at our table. It was more-or-less like that all night. We liked the vibe although not quite as nice in person as the photos made it look. Would have given a 4 if the service was better. Maybe we just got unlucky? BTW the chicken pot pie was good (not great) and chicken fingers were a 4 of 5. Pretty good drink menu on the scrolling screen behind the bar.

We decided to try something new. I like wings so I was pleasantly surprised by the many choices for sauce. My husband ordered a Mac and cheese with chicken on top. Both were excellent. It was a rainy day so we were not able to take advantage of the outdoor dining option (our favorite) but we hope to return soon.

Quality spot for lunch on a Saturday. Good food and great ambiance. I recommend this place if you're in Jackson.

Was seated by a girl named Carolyn. Sunny disposition and very professional. Drinks were awesome and food was amazing. Cook named Jake came out to see if we were enjoying ourselves and the food. Loved this bar and will definitely come back.
