I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food doesn't resemble authentic Mexican cuisine, and it appears to be prepared by non-Hispanic cooks. None of the waitstaff spoke Spanish, which added to my frustration. The dishes were bland and lacked seasoning. When I requested salsa, they served me ketchup instead—what a letdown! This place feels overly sanitized and lacks true Hispanic flavor. If I could give it zero stars, I would!
The service could use some improvement, but the food was hot and satisfactory. The drinks are overpriced and far from strong. Plus, it transforms into a club later in the evening, which I wasn't aware of.
Papitos has really disappointing customer service. I called to place a to-go order but was told I couldn't do that and needed to come in instead. When I asked what the difference was between calling and coming in, I was hung up on. I tried calling back several times, but there was no answer. Additionally, during a visit the week before, we waited a long time for our waiter and never received the complimentary chips and salsa. I suggest saving your money—there are much better Mexican restaurants in the Ridgeland area.
Best karaoke ever in town
I don't give a zero because it's not possible. Bad customer service, bad food, and rude staff. My order took more than 1:30 hour to be ready. They messed up all the orders, and did not take mine and some others. I would never recommend this place, and I will never come back there.
