Jackson Coney Island

Wow! This place is fantastic! We had a fun little challenge at work to see who served the better coney dogs—Jackson or Virginia. I won't bad-mouth the competition since I have photos to show instead! My order was ready for pickup right on time. The cashier was friendly and genuine. The cook seemed a bit grumpy, but let me tell you, the food was outstanding! It cost just 10 cents more for the same order here, but the quality of the food was ten times better. Thank you for a wonderful experience! The first photos are from Jackson, and the last ones are from Virginia. You can really see how well the food was packaged. Also, they didn't wrap the fries in wax paper, which can make them soggy.

The original Coney is a must-visit! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The portions are generous, so come hungry. The restaurant could use some cleaning, but given its historic significance, we were willing to overlook that for the great food.

The staff was friendly, and the food was incredible. I even took home some leftovers along with a large cup of rice pudding.

It's comfortable. Very nice employees. Trusting their customers, with trust you'll never experience in any other restaurant. I'd like to thank them and say job well done. -Tony Jewell

Lived here for 20 years and drove past. Don't make the same mistake I did, I will now stop every time. The soup was amazing. My coney was amazing. I honestly can't wait to go back.
