The rooms were super clean. The environment was quiet and peaceful. We had a balcony with a great view of the mountains and a walk in shower was a nice bonus. Already planning our next trip! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet View all feedback.
What Courtney C doesn't like about Christmas Farm Inn And:
The front desk receptionist was less than friendly, the pool felt like I was in an alpine lake. Then my autistic son spilled ketchup on the white sheets and they charged us 250$. Not children friendly, look elsewhere. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1 View all feedback.
I drove almost 7hrs to give my mom the Hallmark Christmas movie experience and was VERY disappointed with our experience. We showed up in the pouring rain, in and out bringing our luggage into a room that was 57.⁰ The girl at the front desk was useless and I had to insist someone came to our room because our heat was not working. Upon arrival, we were not given the room we specifically asked for 8mo ago! I booked a room in the main house so that my mom could come down the stairs every morning and feel apart of everything. We were given a room which looked like an addition to the Inn with a outside side entrance. So I basically paid $250 a night for a gross outdated and unkempt motel room. The pool pictures on the website are pretty deceiving and it 's actually super small. Not even 5 people could swim comfortably. We went one night and the enclosure which the pool is in, was FREEZING! Other guests came in as well and also complained about how cold it was in there. My mom had a stroke recently and all I wanted to do was give her a little weekend get away to relax and it did nothing but cause her stress. She felt so bad that our experience was so terrible as if it was her fault. Smh She has ibs that hasn 't bothered her in quite some time, but was triggered by lack of concern by the staff and because of thus we had to cancel our train ride to see the Fall leaves. As if things couldn 't have been any more worse...our trains bathroom was broken and my mom didn 't want to risk having to go on our 2.5 hr trip. On top of everything, my mom is now sick because we sat in a freezing room waiting for it to get to a decent temperature. If you have guests checking in, their room should already be at a comfortable temperature! Arriving to a 57⁰ room in the rain is unacceptable. I was told that Chris would speak to Abraham which I guess is the manager to some how make this right. I won 't hold my breath though, I see other people ls reviews where the owner doesn 't respond lol idk how the cabins are, but the experience I had in the main house was actually the WORST travel experience I ever had. Oh, and pack ear plugs. My mom and I had to go to cvs and buy them because we were woken every morning at 6am by the people next to us and above us making love and stopping around. You hear EVERYTHING!!! Rooms: A gross pipe goes across your bed. The furniture is the same as the ones my parents had when I was a child. It wasn 't rustic or cute, it was just out dated with wallpaper falling off and paint chipping. I could have stayed at a cheap motel instead and saved a lot of mojey
Visited here at the end of September. We had booked bed and continental breakfast originally but were later informed that they were no longer doing continental breakfasts and we would get $10 per person per day as compensation towards a full breakfast. However, on arrival we were informed that breakfasts and evening meals would no longer be served on 2 out of 4 days of our stay, due to staffing issues, which neant we woukd gave to find other places to eat in Jackson. We were offered $12 pp for 2 days $48 in total) but as this did not meet the original amount $80) we had been offered , I complained and was offered free breakfasts for the 2 days that they were serving. We were given a room in the Salt Box , Sugar and Spice, which was quite spacious and clean. However, there was no housekeeping for the whole of our stay, again to shortage of staff, we were told. If we wanted clean towels, we had tomput the dirty ones outside the door and inform reception, for them to be replaced. Extra tea/ coffee etc could be obtained from reception. Our room was on the first floor but the stairs were very steep and it was difficult to take luggage up them to our room. No help was offered from the hotel. The staff were pleasant and the location of the hotel was good. We booked this hotel as part of our Golden Wedding Anniversary holiday to New England. The hotel gad been informed about our Anniversary, but no mention was made of it. Other guests had a congratulations message on a board at reception. I had been looking forward to our stay in Jackson at this hotel, but sadly felt it did not meet our expectations.
Stayed with my Daughter. Not kid friendly, they also try to take your security deposit so be careful! I would try the Kancamangus Lodge in Lincoln instead. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1 Hotel highlights: Quiet
We stayed in the carriage house/spa! (It was our Anniversary so we booked massages LOVELY! . Our room was Spacious.SO homey! Fireplace and hot tub were a favorite. LOVED the high, BIG bed, however a small stool would have been great (I’m short! . Pool was lil chilly. Hot tub was toasty, however we couldn’t figure out how to turn~on the agitator!?! We loved Jackson! All the surrounding hot spots were PERFECT! We didn’t have to waste a lot of time driving around! The hotel restaurant was unfortunately closed. (However the hotel staff gave us fantastic recommendations that were literally five minutes away were EXCELLENT! . The cute country store Flossie’s was also closedThis just meanswe’ll be back soon! Totally enjoyed the uniqueness and charm the Christmas Farm offered. Highly recommend Lovely Anniversary getaway for us Rooms: Cozy. Fireplace. Jacuzzi tub in our bathroom. BIG high bed. View mountains. Spa experience. Nearby activities: Jackson Falls. Great restaurants near by. Town North Conway not far Walkability: Loved walking around the hotel grounds, love to exercise so I appreciated.
My husband and I visited a few years ago and we came back for a little break and to admire the foliage. Our room was in the main inn and was comfortable and beautiful. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing. The spa was incredible! I’m a fan of Aveda products and it didn’t disappoint. A beautiful, welcoming waiting area and the masseuse did a wonderful job! The staff always had a smile and was willing to help. We’ll definitely be back!
