The food at this restaurant is fantastic, the prices are great, and the portions are huge. It is much better than the Qdoba in town. I would recommend not going to the Qdoba if you are near this restaurant because the food tastes much better and the workers are friendlier. The queso is amazing, but the guacamole is a bit spicier than expected so be cautious. The portions of both dishes are great and worth the price,... View all feedback.
What Donnell Beer doesn't like about Chilango's Burrito:
Oh, how the mighty fell. that was my favorite Mexican restaurant of all time when they were on ganson. eating was amazing, the service was great, I had weighted zero. when they moved to the west side of the city, eating took a hit, nowhere near so good, and the service litt. rinse and repeat it with any place they added. to their wealth, the house was quite tasty, but after reading their health code violations I coul... This is the first place I know I will never eat food from again, I would go to taco bell before I would go here again for Mexican food. Tortilla wasn't cooked enough so it was chewy, fries were old and dry and while waiting for are food there was a lady sweeping a pile of dirt across the floor just did have that welcomed feeling.
Love eating, but the prices are quite high! and always seems to be in construction.
The best and most engaged place to eat at any time of the day. very generous food proportions. love it.
Oh, how the mighty fell. that was my favorite Mexican restaurant of all time when they were on ganson. eating was amazing, the service was great, I had weighted zero. when they moved to the west side of the city, eating took a hit, nowhere near so good, and the service litt. rinse and repeat it with any place they added. to their wealth, the house was quite tasty, but after reading their health code violations I could not like it anymore. it's 4 years ago, since I've been footing in one of their restaurants, today I tried to see the Burrito bar again whether it has improved. it was nice to see the guy behind the counter was the same amazing waiter from the Ganson days, but eating has improved since the hiatus. really disappointed?
We stopped coming here for the longest time, because the quality has seriously declined, and they have stopped making barbacoa. we took us every Friday night. about six months ago we decided to shoot it again. bang! so good, despite no more our fav protein. we typically come on Friday or Saturday night. recently our termines have changed and the last three times, we were before the night shift youngs come into (our favs day shift staff is rude, not friendly and seems lazy. I can't believe we've only waited five minutes in the restaurant without being recognized. worse is that in the restaurant a hired sat and watched us as we wait. ironically, the same employee we had visited with the previous one. after a few unpleasant moments finally came a dame out of the way to take our order. I will stop coming here and give my money to the other small businesses in the city that each time have a uniform staff and a flawless eating. I will certainly not be back to pick up takeout any time before the night shifts come.
