Unlike Perkins in Milan, customers are truly valued here. I'll definitely be returning!

My initial impression was quite favorable; the ambiance is char... read more As a first-time visitor, I decided to try this restaurant for lunch after hearing great reviews. My initial impression was quite favorable; the ambiance is charmingly rustic, reminiscent of a barn, and it's located by a lake with decent views, although there were several air conditioning units visible. However, given that our lunch bill for two came to $32 before tip, I felt it wasn't quite justified. On a positive note, the service was exceptional and genuinely welcoming. Unfortunately, the food was just average. I was a bit disappointed to find that they serve sweet cornbread, which is quite unusual for the Southern cuisine I'm accustomed to!

The food is outstanding, the desserts are mouthwatering, and the staff is wonderfully friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is located next to a beautiful pond, featuring large windows that offer fantastic views from nearly every seat inside. If you're in the Jackson area, make sure to visit this place!

My mother lives in Jackson and loves catfish. I always stop by here and get her a family pack that she can enjoy for a few days. The catfish is always GREAT as are the Turnup greens and hush puppies. They also have wonderfulbarbecue!!! Great food! Good prices! The buffet here has to be the best buffet in Jackson!
