Amazing service/staff and amazing food. Rooms are immaculate and learnt so much about the history here at meldrum house and the wear abouts of the highland cows. View all feedback.
What MegM doesn't like about 1236 Cave At Meldrum House:
As local people we were really looking forward to finding somewhere with good food without having to go in to Aberdeen. Unfortunately the food was extremely dry and had no flavour. The chillie skillet really was inedible and left myself and my friend feeling quite sick. With only one person serving the bar and restaurant it took a long time for our order to be taken/plates cleared etc. We definitely will not be retur... View all feedback.
The surroundings are gorgeous, service was good alas there was quite a delay in receiving our food due to how busy the dining room was. We were advised that because there was a backlog in the kitchen meals were taking longer to come out. The cave bar is lovely, but it was cold, the door is close to reception, and with lots of guests arriving to attend a wedding, the draft through the bar meant that jackets had to be left on. Service and food was great.
Excellent service and food, would not hesitate to recommend it.
Felt very safe within the dining area given the current situation. Staff all very helpful courteous but did have to wait longer that usual for meal but when it came was delicious. Another lovely dining experience at Meldrum House.
