But our major bummer was WAY too much Tarragon on otherwise delicious steaks. If I'd known they used it, I'd have asked to have it left off. A little is fine, but this overpowered the flavor of the nice beef. Too bad! Wait and back staff were awesome

The appetizers alone set a high bar with the Oysters Rockefeller, Bone Marrow, and Foie Gras Torchon—all executed to perfection and packed with flavor. For the main course, I indulged on the 32 oz Dry-aged Tomahawk Ribeye, which was, without a doubt, one of the most amazing steaks I've ever eaten. The marbling was the most incredible I have ever seen, contributing to its perfect tenderness and rich, savory flavor. This extraordinary ribeye was a product of Prairie Harvest Specialty Foods, known for their high-quality meats, and the beef was raised by Reminisce Angus Ranch in Dillon, MT, ensuring it came from pure Angus cattle. It was cooked to perfection and simply melted in my mouth. The sides of sautéed spinach and crispy Brussels sprouts with bacon sherry vinaigrette complemented the steak beautifully, adding a delightful mix of textures and tastes. Dessert was a choice between Crème Brûlée and Key Lime Pie, and both were outstanding. The Crème Brûlée had a perfectly caramelized top with a creamy, smooth custard underneath, while the Key Lime Pie was refreshingly tangy and sweet. The meal was extraordinary, the atmosphere incredible, and the service unmatched. With amazing company at the table, the experience at Local Restaurant and Bar in Jackson is a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.
