We ordered the House Special Briani. These guys gave us a superb customer experience and their food was fantastic. The blend of flavors and the spice were just perfect. Congratulations and I hope that anything that happened in the past stays in the past and you guys can move forward. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Talk Of The Town:
I visited on Valentine's Day and found the decor to be lovely and the restaurant clean, especially for Jackson Heights. The service was much better than many of the unprofessional, dirty, and rude South Asian (Indian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani) places that are nearby. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Delivery Review Had gone to the NJ restaurant with the same name and was excited to see another location here in Jackson Heights. Typical Indo-Chinese cuisine at good prices make for an easy delivery option. Decided on the Dragon Fish $13) and a Mango Milkshake $5) which came with a 30 minute delivery window. Food arrives at just about the thirty minute mark with the food still piping hot. Everything is packaged well as the rice and curry are placed in separate dishes. Unfortunately, they completely forgot the mango milkshake. Since the delivery guy only left a minute ago, I called and asked them to either bring the drink or refund that part of the order. Their response was that I had to physically go to their location for the refund. Talk about service! As for the food, not great. Fish was a bad cut, super soft with no real texture this is supposed to be fried), and the sauce is overly sweet. While they did give me a refund for the undelivered drink when I got there, I don 't see myself wanting to ever order from here again.
Delivery service critique: Moved recently to this neighborhood and have heard so much praise about the fine dining to be had here. I was excited to try this place as they are one of the few to serve hakka noodles. I found them on Grubhub.com last night. Ordered with a warning that the restaurant was closing in an hour. Got a message 20 minutes later that my order had been canceled as the restaurant had closed. Fine. It happens. Still eager to get my mouth around some good hakka, I ordered at 7pm tonight, confident I 'd get to satisfy my craving. 20 minutes later, another notice from GrubHub that my order had been canceled. No explanation of why from GrubHub. No phone call from the restaurant to tell me why. Just tacky, poor service. Show me a little professional courtesy when you back out of an agreement. So I called the restaurant and was sent straight to voicemail. I didn 't bother leaving a message there. I thought it better to leave one here. I will never order from here again. I 'm not suggesting others avoid it. If you walk by, check it out, especially if you 've never had hakka noodles. But don 't bother with ordering for delivery. I 'm also thinking about whether I want to continue using GrubHub after calling their customer service just now and getting nowhere with the person who answered my call. I 'm taking notes, is not an appropriate response to my question, what are you going to do about it, not the first time I ask, and certainly not the second time I ask after you give me that lousy response. But that 's another issue. Too bad. I was really excited about this place. In any case, I didn 't really have high expectations of the hakka noodles here. They couldn 't possibly be better than the ones served at Hey Canteen in Park Slope. Now that is some serious hakka and I really, really miss it!
This restaurant holds a special place in my heart. The food remains just as delicious as I remember, even though it's now called Eatzy Chinese.

I just ate there and ordered the fried rice with sizzling chicken. Unfortunately, there was no flavor in the food at all. I used to love the cooking from the previous owner, but I'm sorry to say that this does not taste like Chinese food. I'm not sure what I was eating.
