One of... read more What has happened to this place? There was only one young waitress handling everything, but she couldn't compensate for the 45-minute wait for our food. One of our dishes took so long that we ended up taking it to go. The waitress felt terrible and even gave my husband her own lunch. The bathroom was absolutely vile—there was urine all over the floor, and it clearly hadn't been cleaned in ages. One of our party tried to get some change for a tip, but when the woman opened the cash register, it was completely empty. To top it off, the ATM was out of order as well. The poor employee ended up in tears. This was a truly horrendous experience for everyone involved. Shame on you, Applegate General Store Cafe. Just shame on you.

I completely understa... read more Don’t be misled by the extensive menu. My wife and I decided to visit the Applegate, having previously been there under the former owners. I completely understand that starting a new business is a huge undertaking, but when we placed our order, we were informed that they didn’t have any french fries. I was really looking forward to having a hot pastrami sandwich since their website claimed they cured and smoked their own meats. Unfortunately, I was then told they didn’t have any pastrami either. At that point, we decided to take our appetite elsewhere.
