Pistache - Jabaquara

Perhaps the best coconut ice cream I've ever had. Extremely disappointed with the lime. The place says gelato, but that lime was sorbet at best. But without a doubt the best coconut ice cream ever. Huge junks of coconut in the ice cream. Seems like it's hand made and fresh. Doce de leite was good too. But the pistachio tasted like burnt pistachios to me.. everyone has a different sense of taste. Just seemed kind of odd that the place is named pistache and the pistachio ice cream is not so delicious.

Cool little DIY spot for ice-cream. It already looks very cute from outside with a nice colourful little terrace. Then you queue to start choosing and making your scoop(s) of ice cream. I had a big one of chocolate with almonds and honey and another one of vanilla with crunchy nuts and caramel. Then you can add any toppings: liquid sauces, different nuts, candies, ... It is presented in a lovely way. At the end you weight your cup and pay accordingly. Mine costed 12 real which is very okay regarding the quantity and most importantly it was delicious.
