COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. I came back after 1 and a half years with my girlfriend. full of nostalgia. The house was full as was the custom at the time so we chose to wait standing on the side of the counter until a space became available. While we waited, we ordered a drink, 30 minutes after ordering, we asked what would come out faster, as we had only had lunch that day, and then the waiter replied: “Actually, we don't work with this fast food concept, we work with the slow concept. food”. As if being very hungry was almost an offense to the restaurant's premises. What a bucket of cold water, something so avoidable. We love to eat, as calmly as possible, but being hungry doesn't mean thinking I'm in a McDonald's. The drinks were impeccable and the atmosphere was cool, it was the highlight. The starter we ordered at Apothekario was not thrown by the attendant and had to be thrown again when we entered Pupu's (restaurant next door), the waiter at Pupus apologized for a mistake that wasn't his.

The drinks are good, but it's not worth the stress of poor service. Upon arrival, customers are left at the door with no one to control the queue, with many people jumping the queue. When we entered, we sat near the window and then a girl who works there moved us to the counter. As no one came to serve us, I approached the waiter who very rudely kept repeating that I couldn't change seats without warning, even after I explained who had moved my table. And he simply said that he wouldn't serve me, that I should order the drinks from whoever moved me to my seat then. In short, worst possible experience.

I go to Paraty every year, we always really wanted to go there, it seemed to have everything we liked in one place, until I went in lol I went in and as I didn't know how it works I asked an employee wearing a cap and glasses who was working on the computer if there was room (I waited for him to stop moving to talk to him), he already answered me with a uncomfortable look, there is a table there, just use it, it was a somewhat isolated environment that had nothing to do with the rest of the environment, I went to the table and I asked if there was any more space and he replied “It doesn't seem like it, right, just look” with a terrible look on his face, at the same time we got up and left, because from the service it seemed like I was bothering him by being there, as I passed From the entrance to this table on the left side of the door next to this computer, I couldn't see the rest of the place, so I asked.
