Spectacular treatment and food. quiet and very nice place.
I asked for a garlic, a Flemish and a vegetable grill. First of all, to say that the atmosphere has been very quiet and pleasant. the ajoblanco was a little liquid and little flavor, besides coming with two ice cubes that occupied half a glass. less bad we took it off because they'd still hold the ajoblanco. The Flemishes didn't go well. I don't know even if they were pork or chicken, they were a bit insipid, and they have nothing to do with the authentic Cordobesian Flemish. the grill was better in general to get out of the way.

Loved the venue, absolutely beautiful building, eating in the garden watching the bats flying around and staff very attentive and helpful. Starters the croquettas and serrano ham) were very nice. Unfortunately that's where the good bits almost end. When the mains arrived my wife and the two kids had burgers which all had to be sent back owing to the fact that ALL of them were stone cold, as if they had not been cooked at all. I had the 35 day aged steak and from the moment it arrived you could immediately smell there was something wrong..I have experienced the smell of death before and this reminded me of that smell...massively off meat. My wife was almost crying and throwing up from the smell. As soon as their food arrived back I had to send my steak away immediately so they could eat their meals. The waiter returned shortly after with a bottle of prosecco as an apology stating he had tasted the steak and agreed it was off asking if i wanted anything else but I couldn't eat anything further. As I type I can still smell the meat in my nostrils. On a final good point, the waiter had removed the cost of the steak from the bill and rightly so)....and the chips were nice!!!
As I wrote in my hotel review today, the restaurant is very good. Reasonably priced big portions of delicious food. And nice staff who also speak English.
The food was very tasty and the service very good. The atmosphere was very soothing. I would recommend a visit.
It started off badly with two dirty wine glasses, one with lipstick and one with an oil slick on top of the wine. Next, the menu makes no sense. Why not just put sharing plates, starters, mains, deserts like everyone else? Limited choice. Bread straight from bimbo. Steak bland and not caramelised (I take it “Al punto” but it should be charcoaled well. My wife’s salad was missing ingredients. No desert menu, just a few “mousse” options. A hotel/restaurant living in former glory and not delivering anything to keep customers wanting to go back. Such a shame.
We went to try this restaurant after being close for a long time during Covid. We were frankly disappointed. The restaurant was not busy but service was poor being ignored much of the time. The only goo point was the courtyard provided a very nice setting and the rose was very good. The meat and vegitable lasagnes however we not good being a little loose and far too slaty.
