La Hamburguesa Grill - Ixtapa

On our annual trips to Puerto Vallarta, we stay with friends who live in Pitillal. They took us here on our first visit, and we have been back each time since. Hamburgers, french fries, milk shakes, along with Mexican specialties, are the draw here. The place is two rooms and an outdoor sidewalk, so not many tables. The service is good and the food is surprisingly famliar and tasty. Their main drawback is that they are not open for lunch (dinner only). Their other drawback is that they are not easy to find. They are located in a residential area probably a mile east of the Plaza. But if you are in Pitillal one evening, they are definitely worth seeking out.

9 adults took a taxi to this terrific eatery. All fresh homemade food. Cooked on a BBQ outside, authentic . The owner Rafael speaks English and is very helpful in helping you decide what to pick on the large menu. The waitresses were attentive. OPENS at 6:30 every night. Large portions we shared and we're very full. Mostly we had beef burgers and shrimp burgers, all made the way you like it. We all will return.

Enjoyable restaurant serving many burger options so something for everyone. I had the hawaian and my wife a traditional cheeseburger. Both were awesome, as were the french fries. Friendly staff, good time.

Very small place, great hamburgers and above all the best French fries we have ever had! If you look for a tête à tête in a cosy atmosphere this is not the right place. More for your little hunger in between and a nice chat with the owner French speaking!

We stopped by for burgers and for those of us who don't eat meat, had the shrimp burgers, grilled shrimp on big soft buns. Owner is very gracious and friendly, tequila the chihuahua stood guard in front. Humble yet clean and the food was very good especially the fresh fries. $20 for 4 of us!
