While doing our Margarita crawl to see who had the best, we went here for the first time. The first one was basically mix, tried one more and it was just as bad. Not going back.Sorry put some tequila in the drink! View all feedback.
Lo mejor de Ixtapa, precios accesibles y grandes porciones, prueben el sushi el chef Canchola preparará comida joponesa de maravilla!!!
Only cash. I really annoy that the places don't take cards nowadays. the ambiente was a kind of eclectic. not sure what they wanted, but. the food was great! I had a new yorker steak, my wife had bark and garnelenfajitas. The...Steak was very delicate, exactly boiled on order (absolutely) very delicious hot sauce and a bar menu that was sufficient for our needs.
Two great menus. we went for their famous tacos and were not disappointed. great service and new friends.
My man and I had the food for 2 meeres, garnel, red snaps, lobster, garlic bread. the aromen were brilliant and the portions were huge. great service, inexpensive. we were pleasantly surprised.
We went to Calabozo on a Thursday night. Two other tables occupied. Fun 80's videos playing. Ordered the shrimp, T-bone, mahi mahi, lobster platter. Prepared to enjoy all of it. Sadly, none of it was very good. The steak, while it had excellent flavor, was...difficult to cut or chew due to the ligaments and tendons in it. Such a shame. After 2 weeks of seafood, I was seriously jonesing for some beef. The shrimp still has the whole shell on it, and was so difficult to extract the meat that I gave up. I think that perhaps it was over -cooked. The lobster was really over-cooked. Also no clarified butter for dipping. The drinks were so so. My margarita was weak and sour. Pina colada was delicious but tasted devoid of booze. Also if you request another drink, hold on to your old one til you're done, as they snag the one in front of you no matter how much is left. We ate at Calabozo because of the hearty endorsement of friends where we were staying, so maybe just an off night for the kitchen.
