Amado's - Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo

Wow what a great day caught tuna, snorkelled, they cooked our fish treated us like family and spoiled us rotten. Thanks to mario and all the staff made our honeymoon thatmuch better

After 4 of us fished for the morning, catching dorado, Spanish mackerel, and black tuna, (we snorkeled too!!!) we landed at Amados restaurant at Playa de las Gatas where they prepared our fish 3 ways: ceviche, sashimi, and grilled fish from our morning catch. Our waiter Oscar was the best!!!!! He kept the beer buckets coming to our table and he was super friendly and attentive. We had the best time and the prices were great! The food was delicious. We will be back for sure! Muchas Gracias Oscar!!!

Mario set us up for a fishing trip. We caught the fish and took us the the restaurant, Amados Restaurant. Amado also runs the Amados New Adventure Sport Fishing. They cooked the fish we caught. The people there are all so nice. They provide excellent customer service and cooked our fish to perfection.

Best part of our escape to Zihuatenejo. Our experience at Amado's RestAurant was the cherry on top of our 2265 mile journey from Santa Cruz , Ca to Zihuatenejo. The breathtaking tropical views , authentic Mexican seafood, and friendly local staff were beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this place. You catch them and they'll cook them. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of your life, this quaint fishing town is for you, and yes the pacific is as blue as you had hoped for( I.e. Shawshank Redemption) ! Bravo to Fidel and his amazing staff.

This restaurant was amazing! The food was was great and the service was excellent maybe even better or a close tie!! You have a view with the ocean which doesn't hurt. Sip on a lemonade and enjoy yourself!
