We are a group of hikers who are here in 2016 but back in 2018. in our last visit we had noticed the biggest pizza we had ever seen and it was swallowed by 2 cu... read more We are a group of hikers who are here in 2016 but back in 2018. in our last visit we had noticed the biggest pizza we had ever seen and it was swallowed by 2 customers. this year we came when the restaurant was opened, but we were quickly shown a table. we had great, tasty food and wine and excellent service. we had come with the bus from outside of ivrea and we were shown where we get the bus back to our hotel. but the heavens suddenly darkened and we moved back to the restaurant. we experienced the biggest raindrop we had ever seen, accompanied by thunder and flash. We looked at how violent rains were on the hill. the owner gave us a glass grappa as we waited for a taxi. because it was too bad for taxis to dare, the owner kindly took out his car from a nearby garage and drove us kindly back to the hotel. this was an exceptional service and we really appreciated it.
