Ivanhoe Public Golf Course

The course is quite beautiful, but it's currently very wet due to the recent rain, which has created a lot of mud. I haven't played here in a few years, and I've noticed that some of the gum trees have grown over the line of play on certain holes. Unfortunately, I'm not skilled enough to navigate around them! A prime example is this par 3 hole. It requires a high loft shot straight to the flag, but the tree can really get into your head...

We played here on January 2, 2021, and received a warm welcome at the lobby from the staff, who I believe were Michael or Frank. I really enjoyed the golf course, which had a reasonable green fee for the weekend. It wasn't too crowded, and the course was quite challenging. I particularly liked the 14th tee box. We will definitely be returning, as we had a great time playing there.

This wonderful restaurant provides beautiful views and a serene atmosphere, located near some of the most desirable neighborhoods in town. It's truly an underrated gem. However, there are a few marshy spots that could use some attention.

A well presented golf course both challenging and rewarding if you are hitting them well...thoroughly enjoyable day and very pleasant setting for a drink on the 19th. Will be back...

Lovely little golf course, there were a lot of leaves though which did make it rather difficult to find your ball. Other than that great, lovely little pro shop with everything you need and a nice cafe too! $80 for 2 people and a cart I thought was pretty good value too
