The cooking time was exactly m... read more We ate at La Grappa in Itzehoe and were very satisfied. I had a rump steak with arugula salad, vegetables, and rosemary potatoes. The cooking time was exactly medium, as requested – truly perfect. For dessert, we had a pistachio ice cream cassata, which was absolutely delicious and a wonderful way to end the evening. The service was friendly and attentive, and they offered helpful advice on our menu choices. Overall, the restaurant evokes a little piece of Italy and has a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

Their concept of creating incredibly delicious Italian dishes using Slow Food principles is truly excellent. It's not your average, run-of-the-mill Italian restaurant, of which there are far too many these days. The service is always friendly and attentive. Every evening is a lovely one! Reservations are recommended.
