Volpe Italiano - Itasca

We tried Volpe Italiano using Doordash last weekend for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! The menu has some of the traditional Fox and Turtle favorites (like the chicken lombardi and crispy eggplant salad, yum!! but we wanted to try something new so we got the veal parmigiana and the cavatappi carbonara and we loved both. The veal was tender and tasty and came with a huge side portion of pasta (the marinara sauce was delicious ! The carbonara was rich and creamy and so worth it. The delivery came in about 20 minutes and our food was still steaming hot. Great experience all around and will definitely order again when craving Italian. Can’t wait to try the pizza!
